AZURA FILM FESTIVAL TO PRESENT SPECIAL PREVIEW EVENT IN ZUG
The AZURA Film Festival will present a special preview screening on Saturday, 5 September 2026, at Kulturraum am Gleis in Zug, as part of the Swiss Soca Festival.
The preview offers audiences an early introduction to AZURA and its vision of creating a cultural bridge between Switzerland, the Caribbean and the wider international film community. The event will bring filmmakers, audiences and creative communities together for a programme of short films, followed by an engaging Q&A. Guests will also be welcomed to a festive blue-carpet experience with popcorn.
“AZURA is about discovering distinctive voices and bringing people together through cinema,” says Natalia Wohler, President and Festival Director. “This special preview gives audiences a first taste of the festival and the stories we hope to share across borders.”
Natalia Wohler leads the festival alongside Vice President and Host Director Davis Deen. Together they aim to establish an inclusive platform for independent filmmakers, emerging talent and culturally diverse storytelling.
Under the guiding message “Beyond Horizons. Where Stories Cross Oceans,” the AZURA Film Festival will inspire dialogue, encourage cultural exchange and offer fresh perspectives from around the world.
